As part of SUNY’s ongoing commitment to improving student access to transfer information and improving the transfer process for all students, we are pleased to provide the following resources for the SUNY Transfer Equivalency Platform (STEP) project.
The SUNY Transfer Equivalency Platform will provide a centralized, accessible record source of SUNY's transfer course equivalencies and transfer catalog data. This will give students faculty and staff greater insight into transfer equivalencies, aid in the development of local campus transfer equivalency catalogs and help in the assessment of transfer equivalencies practices at SUNY campuses. The main feature of the platform is that it will aggregate and make available all standard transfer equivalency data system wide.
The platform's development is a multi-phase approach that will be undertaken with campuses, to provide the next generation of transfer tools. The platform is system neutral, is designed to work with multiple information systems, and forms a foundation for future technology neutral services in the transfer and curriculum development space.

The knowledge base for the SUNY Transfer Equivalency Platform provides technical and functional support for the development and maintenance of the platform and associated tools. The knowledge base also includes a collection of questions and answers related to the rollout and implementation of the platform.

The community is a space designed to discuss evolving transfer initiatives and policies as well as best practices used across the SUNY System. This community is open to all faculty and staff in SUNY who support our transfer students.
