SUNY Transfer Paths

SUNY is a national leader in the development of program pathways. SUNY Transfer Paths provide you with the opportunity to attend a SUNY community college, while making guaranteed progress toward your bachelor's degree in any SUNY four-year program offering the pathway. Transfer Paths provide you with a menu of Core Courses - essential lower division requirements for various majors and areas of study. If a course is listed as a Core Course, it is guaranteed to transfer within the path.

Support Directory

Each SUNY campus participates in SUNY Seamless Transfer and also posts a series of helpful resources for students on their respective campus websites. The Support Directory ties this information together and provides one-click access to the most critical resources on each SUNY campus. Resources include transfer equivalency catalogs, policies, and connections to campus offices and support staff.

Transfer Appeals

Under SUNY's Seamless Transfer Policy, if you do not agree with the initial decision made by a SUNY campus regarding the granting or placement of credit earned at a prior SUNY institution, you have the right to submit an appeal. If you do not agree with the outcome after completing the campus appeal process, you may also appeal to SUNY System Administration.
