This is the first intermediate-level Spanish course. It will expand on improving the listening, reading, writing and speaking skills, as well as culture in the Spanish-speaking world. It provides an overall grammar review with the introduction of more advanced structures which will include an introduction to the subjunctive tense.
Ninety percent of this class must be conducted in Spanish.
Core Courses are courses that fulfill lower-level requirements and apply to any transfer path major where they appear. Intermediate Spanish I is universal course description, which maps to specific courses on SUNY campuses.
